Lake Merritt Run Club puts on some of the East Bay’s most beloved races — from monthly runs around the lake to epic trail races in the Berkeley hills.

A challenging 10-mile race held in Tilden Park, Berkeley. Established in 1987 as an alternative to Bay to Breakers — it sells out every year at 300 runners.
A challenging 8.4-mile hilly cross-country loop on dirt trails in Oakland. One of the East Bay’s most scenic and demanding trail races.
