The Lake Merritt Relay is an annual team relay race around the beautiful loop of Lake Merritt in Oakland. Teams of runners each take a leg of the course, making it a perfect event for groups of all abilities — competitive teams, workplace squads, families, and friends alike.

Each team member runs one leg of the relay around Lake Merritt. Team sizes vary — check the registration page for current team size options and leg distances.
10K individual option
In addition to the team relay, an individual 10K option is available for solo runners who want to run the full loop on their own.
